Overview

Unqualified Teacher - High Wycombe. Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum. Start Date: September 2025. This is a permanent position in an independent specialist setting in High Wycombe, ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and training, and dedicated to supporting children with autism and complex needs.

About the Role
  • Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of children with autism and complex needs.
  • Creating a safe and nurturing learning environment that promotes positive outcomes for all learners.
  • Planning and delivering personalized education and training programs in line with the school's specialist curriculum.
  • Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and external agencies, to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
  • Supporting the social, emotional, and mental health needs of learners by implementing behaviour management strategies.
  • Contributing to the school's wider ethos of providing outstanding specialist education.
About You
  • Proven experience as a Primary HLTA or within a specialist setting supporting children with autism and complex needs.
  • A genuine passion for education and training, with a focus on making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with learners, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • Resilience, creativity, and adaptability to respond effectively to the needs of the learners.
  • The desire to grow professionally and take on new challenges within a specialist educational environment.
