As a Unit Nurse Manager (General) at a Barchester care home, you'll use your compassion and initiative to ensure residents receive quality care. You'll plan, manage and monitor the delivery of nursing that meets residents' needs and implement person-centred care plans that make a real difference to their day-to-day lives. You’ll have autonomy to develop your unit with opportunities for professional development.
In the role, you'll plan rotas, recruit, train and mentor staff, and build relationships with local regulators and social services. You’ll implement well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices and regulatory frameworks (including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines).
