A leading insurance firm based in Guildford seeks an Underwriting Governance Specialist. In this hybrid role, you will facilitate comprehensive governance processes across commercial lines. Your responsibilities include collaborating with various teams to ensure adherence to underwriting controls and producing insights for key stakeholders. We seek a candidate with a background in underwriting or operations, and the ability to manage tasks under pressure. A robust training program will support your development. Role Description
This role will allow you to do just that, as a member of the Underwriting and Product Services team, you will be providing and supporting a comprehensive range of governance processes across Commercial lines collaborating with other business functions. Giving you the ability to learn and develop your knowledge of Underwriting and Governance controls.
In joining this team, you will play a pivotal role in providing assurances that the underwriting business operates effectively and in accordance with agreed rules and frameworks. As well as playing a part in improving the oversight processes and control frameworks
This would be suited to someone who is looking to build their internal network and foster collaboration across the various business functions, whilst keeping the customer at the heart of what we do.
This is a Hybrid role based from our Guildford office.
Pay : Circa £40,000 per year.
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
