A leading defence and aerospace company is looking for an Undergraduate Electronic Systems Electronics Engineer to join their team in Rochester. You will work on avionics systems, optimising designs and testing products. A competitive salary of £24,300 is offered alongside a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible working arrangements. Ideal candidates will have at least a 2.2 degree in Electronics or a related field.
Length of contract: 12 months
Start date: 22 June 2026
As a minimum, you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electronics in combination with Electrical or Computing or Physics.

As a Undergraduate you’ll work with the team making recommendations about electronic product content for avionics systems, optimise hardware and software design concepts, and develop sophisticated design processes and test complex products. You’ll gain exposure to the entire project lifecycle and play a key role in both maintaining existing systems and developing new technologies.
