Job summary

A leading health organization in Wales is seeking a qualified sonographer to enhance their ultrasound services across multiple departments. The ideal candidate will hold a post-graduate ultrasound qualification and have excellent clinical skills, with experience in various scanning techniques. The role involves working closely with radiologists and ensuring a patient-focused service. The position offers a salary range of £48,527 to £55,532 per annum, pro rata, with additional support for Welsh-speaking applicants.

Qualifications

• Must be able to independently carry out and report on specialized ultrasound examinations to a high standard.
• Experience in general and gynecological scanning is desirable.
• MSK and/or vascular experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maximize the ultrasound service focused on patient care.
• Work closely with sonographers, radiologists, and senior colleagues across North Wales.
• Accountable for actions while adhering to departmental guidelines.
