A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking an enthusiastic radiographer to join their ultrasound team. This full-time position includes both academic training and practical experience in obstetrics, gynaecology, and general medical ultrasound. The successful candidate will work under supervision, with a commitment to continuing their career with the organization. An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and self-motivated radiographer to join our dynamic Ultrasound team. This is a training post within the Ultrasound Department, specifically training in obstetrics, gynaecology and general medical ultrasound. The training is full-time (37.5 hours each week) and is both academic and practical. There is a need to attend a higher education institute and a need to complete assessments throughout the training. Successful completion of the training will result in a formal qualification in Medical Ultrasound (PGDip).
The successful applicant will be required to complete a supervised preceptorship period before independent work is undertaken. There is an expectation to remain at HDFT as a qualified Sonographer for 1 year post initial qualification immediately following training.
