UK Technical Sales Manager
Up to 70,000 per annum DOE + Commission + Company Benefits
Location: Commutable from Birmingham, Dudley, Stourbridge, West Bromwich, Wolverhampton, Walsall

An excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional with strong technical knowledge of low voltage panel design and experience in sales management. This is a chance to join a well-established business and take ownership of driving sales growth, developing customer relationships, and expanding market share within the switchgear industry.

The company are industry leaders in their field, working with a wide range of reputable clients across the UK. They are looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join their team and play a key role in achieving ambitious growth targets within the UK.

This role would suit an individual with proven sales success in the engineering/manufacturing sector, looking to take on a strategic role within a growing and respected organisation.

The Role:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies, analyse market trends, customer behaviour and sales data to forecast sales and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, whilst identifying and securing new business opportunities.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes, tools and procedures.
  • Work with customers on pre-engineering design solutions and standardisation.

The Person:

  • Experienced Sales Manager with a strong technical background.
  • Knowledge of low voltage panel design and the switchgear market, including IEC (phone number removed) standards.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Flexible to travel across the UK as required.
