Job summary

A community-focused tutoring organization is seeking part-time tutors to join their Family Learning team in Suffolk. Tutors will work in their local RF Learning Centre or from home, with responsibilities including running programs that encourage parental involvement in children's education. Job description

Hours Available: 11.1 per week

Location: South Suffolk, Lowestoft and Waveney

Realise Futures Learning, Coaching and Advice has vacancies for part‑time tutors (variable hours) to join the Family Learning team across Suffolk. Tutors will be based in the RF Learning Centre nearest to their residence or can work from home.

Qualifications
  • Minimum level 3 teaching qualification (level 4 for English, Maths and Language)
  • Subject qualification in the relevant area
  • Enhanced DBS check required
Responsibilities
  • Run short programmes in partner venues that encourage parental involvement in children’s learning and development
  • outreach programmes and travel to partner venues (own transport required)
  • Communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude to working in partnership with parents/carers
  • Adapt to variable hours and flexible schedules (availability of 11.1 hrs per week)

Delivery is term‑time only.
