An educational support organization is seeking 1:1 tutors in Shaftesbury, UK, to assist children in care by delivering personalized education plans. Ideal candidates should possess QTS/PGCE or equivalent experience, and strong interpersonal skills to help students engage with their learning. This role offers flexible working hours and the chance to make a positive impact on vulnerable children's lives.
Teaching Personnel are closely partnered with virtual schools and local authorities to provide essential support for children in care who are at risk of missing out on education. Many of these young people face significant barriers such as placement moves, trauma, disrupted routines, and additional learning needs, which make accessing mainstream education challenging.
As a means of addressing these barriers we are looking for 1:1 tutors who can deliver personalised education plans to help children in care re-engage with learning, build confidence and successfully return to the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
