Location: On-Site (Various Locations) & Online

Salary: 20 - 30 per hour

Hours: Flexible, from 4 to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

Are you a resilient and empathetic tutor passionate about making a real difference? The Catch Up Academy is seeking dedicated educators to provide crucial 1:1 support to children who have been unable to secure a school place, or whose SEND or medical needs prevent them from accessing mainstream education.

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to build a strong, positive relationship with a student, prioritising their specific likes, needs, and interests to re-engage them with learning. We are looking for tutors who are adaptable, patient, and resilient, with the ability to create a supportive and effective learning environment outside of a traditional classroom.

Hours & Delivery

Hours are highly flexible, ranging from 4 to 40 per week, to suit your availability. The role involves a mix of on-site tutoring (at a neutral location or the student\'s home) and online sessions. In return for your dedication, we offer a competitive pay rate of 20 - 30 per hour.

About The Catch Up Academy

The Catch Up Academy is a dedicated service providing educational support to children who have been excluded from, or are unable to attend, mainstream school. We specialise in working with students who have complex needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and medical conditions. Our mission is to bridge the educational gap by offering tailored, one-to-one tuition that prioritises the student\'s wellbeing and individual learning journey, ensuring no child is left behind.
