Restaurant Manager – TUI River Cruises
ISMIRA Agency is actively recruiting for the position of Restaurant Manager for TUI Cruises. TUI River Cruises are designed as boutique 'floating hotels' with a maximum of 155-190 guests, offering an intimate and relaxed atmosphere with a focus on immersive destination experiences. The TUI Aria is an adult‑only, modern and beautiful river ship and the largest in the European fleet.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee entire service department, ensuring professional, courteous, and consistent service aligned with company standards.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of company SOPs and ensure their implementation.
- Communicate relevant information effectively within the team and across departments.
- Support daily operations, including stepping in at service stations when required.
- Prepare staff duty schedules in compliance with labor regulations.
- Ensure the team is knowledgeable about the vessel's itinerary, docking locations, and shore excursions.
- Foster a positive, collaborative working environment across all departments, promoting open and respectful communication.
- Conduct regular briefings and meetings to ensure smooth information flow; participate in department meetings led by the Hotel Manager.
- Lead frequent training sessions with the team and train newly hired team members properly.
- Evaluate performance of the team, providing feedback and implementing performance‑enhancing action plans when necessary.
Requirements
- Age 18+ from EU and also all nationalities we work with
- Experience in restaurant field
- Ship experience preferred
- No visible aggressive tattoos
- For non‑EU candidates, a German Visa D will be required.
- Safety certificates and US Visa are NOT needed.
- Knowledge of English language (B2 level).
- Able to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Comfortable working in multicultural environments.
- Highly organized, disciplined, and dependable.
