A leading healthcare organization in Cambridgeshire seeks a Trust Doctor for the Emergency Medicine Team. The successful candidate will commence employment on 4 February and fulfill essential clinical duties within a busy Emergency Department. Responsibilities include assessing emergency patients and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care. Full GMC registration is required, and flexible working arrangements are offered. This role actively supports professional development and emphasizes a work-life balance.
The Trust has an exciting opportunity for Trust Doctors to join our Emergency Medicine Team. This post is available for appointment at the February changeover and successful applicants must be able to commence employment on 4 February. This start date is fixed and cannot be delayed. The postholder will undertake the normal duties associated with this grade and specialty and will be an integral part of a friendly, efficient and ambitious Emergency Department.
Middle Grade or Consultant support is available at all times, including nights and weekends.

The duties of the post are the normal duties of a doctor in this grade and specialty and he/she will be an integral part of this pleasant, efficient and progressive department, providing immediate medical care, and assisting in reviewing all follow-up patients.
The successful applicant will be encouraged to attend appropriate conferences and courses. The ability to work within a team and communicate effectively with patients, GP’s and hospital colleagues is essential.
Educational support is provided to all junior medical staff, whether in established training grades or not. A weekly educational programme takes place within the department, including a monthly simulation practice session, and there is an opportunity to present interesting cases for the learning of all. Study Leave is also available and encouraged for life support courses.
Clinical Governance meetings occur three monthly. Audit topics are available if required, but we support and encourage individual audits.
We also support individual training needs by means of an allocated Educational Supervisor and aim to support applicants in obtaining other specialty experience before embarking on their continued career. We have a good record for Trust Grade doctors entering training after a period of time working in the department in Peterborough.
