Your Responsibilities

An opportunity has arisen for a Treasury Assistant in the City of London, within the Financial Services sector of ADM. To assist in the treasury and general accounts in an all‑encompassing accounting role, ideally suited to a candidate that is keen to enter or gain further experience in a Finance/Treasury environment. The main duties of this role will include assisting the Treasury function on a daily basis.

  • Reconcile all bank accounts and month‑end balances.
  • Advise Risk and Trading Desks of any funds received and discuss associated problems.
  • Prepare and input payments into the banking system for authorisation.
  • Update spreadsheets with payments and receipts.
  • Write and process cheques for signing.
  • Handle ongoing queries regarding client payments and receipts.
  • Apply Client Money Rules (CASS) to payments, receipts and bank details.
  • Process FX swaps.
  • Manage daily cash, inflows and outflows and update the cash sheet.
  • Handle account closures.
  • Complete and process the Client Money Reconciliation and Cash transfer to the bank daily for sign‑off by the CAOO.
Your Profile
  • Microsoft Office – intermediate level.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
  • GCSE grade 6 or above in Mathematics and English.
  • Good numeracy and accuracy.
  • At least one year of office experience.
