Job summary

A leading UK tour operator is looking for an experienced travel consultant to create bespoke holidays to North America and Canada. This fully remote role requires a strong passion for travel, excellent communication skills, and proven experience in sales. You will manage the entire sales cycle, build customer relationships, and leverage your GDS knowledge for bookings. The package includes a competitive salary with OTE of £42,000 and exceptional travel perks such as free airline tickets each year.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience selling holidays to North America and/or Canada.
  • Confident user of a GDS (ideally Galileo) for flight bookings.
  • A strong sales record with the ability to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with a customer‑first approach.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A genuine passion for travel and a love for helping people discover new places.
Responsibilities
  • Designing bespoke holidays throughout the USA and Canada, using your destination knowledge to craft memorable itineraries.
  • Converting enquiries into bookings by listening carefully, advising with confidence, and delivering a truly personal service.
  • Managing the full sales cycle – from first enquiry through to after‑sales care.
  • Building strong relationships with both direct customers and trade partners.
  • Using a GDS system to quote and book flights as part of your packages.
  • Working with energy, focus, and enthusiasm to exceed your targets.
Package

Full‑time: 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri 9‑5.30 or 10‑6.30; one Saturday in three 10‑4). OTE £42,000 with top earners significantly exceeding this. Exceptional travel perks, including two free airline tickets each year plus unlimited standby tickets.
