Overview

Ready to lead from the front? We’re looking for a dynamic and hands on Supervisor who’s committed to delivering exceptional service, every time.

In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure customer consignments are collected and delivered on time, in full, and with absolute care all in line with legislation, safety standards, and company policies. As a leader on the ground, you’ll set the standard for safe handling, operational excellence, and high-quality service.

Alongside your supervisory responsibilities, you’ll spend around 25% of your time driving, giving you first‑hand insight into the operation and enabling you to lead with credibility and confidence.

  • Submitting and raising Near Miss, Safety Concerns and Unsafe acts observed while carrying out your daily duties is every colleague’s responsibility
  • Operate a van, rigid or artic in a safe and compliant manner adhering to legislation and company policy and procedures
  • Operate to the Distribution Strategy of Safe, Efficient & Miles
  • Operate a van, rigid or artic to deliver and collect product to/from the end customer as required
  • Provide support to the operation as required by preloading/unloading trailers
  • Ensure all vehicles in their area of responsibility are in a safe, clean and presentable condition
Qualifications
  • Essential to hold a Valid Category B, C+E Driving licence and preferable to hold a Valid ADR Training Certificate
  • Categories 1-9 excluding 7 but with 7x accepted packages In date Drivers CPC
  • IT Skills to inlcude Word and Excel
  • Customer focused with the ability to meet and exceed expectations
  • Background within transports and team management
