Overview

Transport planner required for a freight forwarder. You will be working within the transport office dealing with import / export deliveries and collections around Heathrow. You will be liaising with the drivers and planning routes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export deliveries and collections around Heathrow.
• liaise with drivers and plan efficient routes.

Working hours

Monday - Friday earlies (06:00 – 14:00) and alternating weeks 14:00 – 22:00. Must be willing to work both shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in scheduling transport and planning.
• Good understanding of the freight industry.
• Knowledge of the airport environment.

You will be dealing with time-critical and temperature-controlled shipments, so attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines is essential.
