A leading food wholesaler in the UK is looking for a Transport Operations Clerk to manage administrative tasks in the Transport department. Responsibilities include providing paperwork to drivers, supporting route departures, and resolving operational challenges. Job description
Overview

Transport Operations Clerks are responsible for the administration of the Transport department including the operational activity and support of the warehouse administration as required. Your duties will vary depending on what’s required on the day so being flexible is an important skill to have.

Responsibilities
  • Giving drivers their paperwork
  • Supporting with route departures
  • Gathering Tachograph reports
  • Debriefing drivers
  • Supporting with any challenges that arise as part of the Transport Operations Team
Qualifications
  • Experience with HGV drivers or within a similar transport role would be ideal; however, transferable skills will be considered.
