Pay Rate: £34,850.00 + 10% night shift premium (total combined is £38,335.00) | Grade: RCS M | Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) | Shift patterns: 4 on, 4 off Night Shift 7pm - 7am | Location: S80 3EG - Worksop

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise efficient transport routes across our network to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery solutions.
• Deliver efficient and profitable network transport plans and ensure network KPI\'s are met and customer SLA\'s are exceeded.
• Use ConnectTMS — a bespoke software — to build loads, create routes and allocate vehicles within planning deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement of the transport network, increasing customer satisfaction and improving cost effectiveness of transport and planned routes.
• Collaborate with a range of departments and people at different levels in transport, warehouse, as well as end-point customers and DHL customers.

What this role would suit

• Previous experience in route planning across a Transport Network of different sites and customers is essential
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills are essential
• Ability to work well under pressure, while meeting strict deadlines
• Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office and Teams; previous experience of planning systems is advantageous
