We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to oversee and manage our transport operations. This role is integral to ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient movement of goods and services across our network.

Duties Include:

  • Lead day to day transport operations, ensuring deliveries are on time and cost-effective.
  • Manage and optimise routes, schedules, and vehicle utilisation.
  • Ensure full compliance with transport legislation, health & safety, and licensing requirements.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance and fleet performance.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage drivers and transport staff.
  • Control transport budgets, fuel usage, and operational costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver excellent customer service

Successful candidates will have the following:

  • Proven experience in transport or logistics management.
  • Strong knowledge of transport regulations, compliance, and fleet management.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Experience managing budgets.
  • Proficient in Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office.
  • CPC in Road Haulage/Passenger Transport or equivalent is highly desirable.
