Shifts for Transport Coordinator :

  • 08:30 - 17:00
  • Monday to Friday
  • Temp to Perm

Pay for Administrator :

  • From £13.50 per hour
  • Paid weekly

Main Duties of Transport Coordinator

  • Answering phones and transferring to correct department.
  • Assisting with the allocation of work to drivers and vehicles in WIMS.
  • Debriefing all drivers on a daily basis ensuring that missed lifts are logged on salesforce and customers are informed.
  • Ensuring that one-trip work is performed in a logical sequence and that drivers are directed to the most advantageous disposal sites.
  • Ensuring that drivers daily defect books are fully completed.
  • Ensuring working hours are logged accurately and in accordance with the union agreement.
  • Ensuring all paperwork is made available to the drivers as required including Sales and Delivery Risk Assessments for new sites
  • Analysis if a number of reports to ensure the depot is achieving set KPIs
  • Maintaining and filing fleet compliance records
  • Assisting the operations manager with drivers data on the FTA Vision portal
