Overview

Are you looking for a permanent role with a well-established company offering a fixed Sunday to Thursday night shift? This exciting opportunity in Hardwicke that offers a competitive salary and a supportive, friendly working environment where your contributions really matter.

What you will be offered
  • Competitive salary between £28,000 and £34,000 per annum (depending on experience) - that's approximately £2333 to £2833 per month!
  • Fixed shift of Sunday to Thursday working 19:30-05:30

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicating with drivers, customers, and warehouse teams to manage logistics efficiently
  • Completing driver debriefs at the end of their shifts, qualifying any issues, returned deliveries and recording of driver hours
  • Monitoring transport operations and resolving issues as they arise
  • Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports
  • Supporting compliance with health and safety and transport regulations
  • Liaising with suppliers and third-party hauliers
What you need
  • Proven experience in transport coordination or logistics planning
  • Knowledge of driving time directive to ensure all drivers are kept compliant and within regulations
  • Previous experience in customer handling - dealing with on road issues, damaged deliveries and general enquiries to ensure a smooth operation
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • IT literate, with experience using transport management systems or similar software
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work
