Transport Coordinator – Location: Wednesbury (WS10). Hours: Full-time | Contract: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum (depending on experience)
What You'll Be Doing
- As our Transport Coordinator, you'll be the key link between our drivers, warehouse, and clients—ensuring every delivery is executed smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driver Briefing & Support: Clearly communicate workloads, provide accurate documentation, and resolve delivery issues swiftly.
- Fleet & Equipment Management: Oversee vehicle maintenance, defect reporting, and compliance with VOSA standards.
- Health & Safety Leadership: Enforce site safety policies, issue PPE, and ensure all drivers follow regulations.
- Security Oversight: Implement and monitor strict security procedures, including spot checks and trailer PIN lock installations.
- Admin & Communication: Manage PODs, liaise with return load companies, and investigate missing or damaged goods.
- Personal Development: Continuously improve your skills and knowledge to enhance your role and team performance.
