Job summary

A leading logistics company in Warrington is seeking a Transport Administrator to maintain effective communication with transport functions and drivers. You will be responsible for recording vehicle accidents, conducting driver briefings, and responding to customer queries. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a transport environment and knowledge of transport legislation. Proficiency in Word and Excel is also essential. Qualifications

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Build and maintain a strong partnership with the transport functions and drivers to ensure regular communication is delivered
  • Record details of vehicle accidents and ensure these are escalated to line management
  • Drivers brief and de-briefing as well as data entry of statistics, customer reports and KPI’S
  • Respond to customer queries in timely and professional manner

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Previous experience in transport environment essential
  • Knowledge of transport legislation and European Working Time Directive as well as Tachomaster
  • Working with Food Safety standard experience preferred but not essential
  • IT Literate, with excellent Word and Excel capabilities
