Transfer Station Operative

Salary: £12.31 per hour plus Veolia benefits and pension

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 08.00 - 17.00 (overtime available)

Location: Gwalchmai, Anglesey, LL65 4RJ

What you'll be doing as the Transfer Station Operative
  • Responsible for the sorting of commercial waste deposited at the transfer station.
  • Ensure the site is kept clean and tidy.
  • Comply with the conditions of the site waste management permit.
  • Carry out additional duties which may be required, as directed by your line manager.
What we're looking for
  • Ability to effectively communicate within a team and with the general public.
  • Work on your own initiative, as well as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual and customer orientated.
  • Experience within the recycling industry is desirable.
  • Experience of driving machinery is desirable.
