  • Salary: £35,000 per annum
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, no weekends
  • Location: ABC, Tidworth

Your Role
  • You will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective transaction processing department for Aspire entities.
  • You will build relationships with the wider business and other key stakeholders, including Suppliers and Procurement Team.
  • You will develop and perform on the Accounts Payable process including, but not limited to, successful 3‑way matching statistics.
  • You will assist the Financial Controller where necessary to ensure all transaction processing staff are fully trained, developed, and supported to enable an efficient and effective service.
  • You will assist the Financial Controller where necessary to ensure operational processes are continually reviewed and improved where appropriate.
  • You will assist the Financial Controller where necessary to ensure appropriate controls are in place to comply with current SOX controls.
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualifications: It is desirable to have a knowledge of accounting.
  • Experience: Experience of working in a transaction processing environment is essential, as is the ability to display initiative and be able to work in an environment of change. Good experience of working with an ERP system is expected, as is experience of working with an AP scanning system.
  • Skills: An enquiring mind is required for this role, as is the ability to challenge to ensure process compliance. It is also beneficial to be able to work well within a Team.
