What you will do:
  • Manage Real Estate backed transactions from credit approval through documentation, negotiation and drawdown working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of a portfolio of lending transactions, project manage all aspects of loan execution to ensure deals complete in a timely manner.
  • Lead and proactively manage internal and external partners to completion - act as an expert on all documentation, security and due diligence queries.
  • Troubleshoot issues as they come up, finding practical solutions, and making the right decisions in line with Bank process.
  • Develop and maintain management information packs to track workflow and efficiencies.
  • Assist with training and development for new starters and help guide them through their learning journey.

What you will need:
  • Strong background in Commercial/SME or Real Estate lending.
  • The ability to analyse and understand commercial lending transactions and their key terms and provide solutions to any identified issues.
  • Experience handling complex relationships and finding solutions while managing risks.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to maintain a positive internal network.
  • Experience of LMA documentation is advantageous but not essential.
  • An understanding of the risks involved in commercial finance and what they mean for you, Metro Bank, and our stakeholders.
