First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic International Defence business who are looking to a Training and Development Specialist on a permanent basis due to growth based at their Christchurch depot.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Development of training design documentation, including (but not limited to):
  • Production of Formal Training Statements (FTSs)
  • Development of the Individual and collective Training Objectives (TOs/CTOs)
  • Development of the FTSs
  • Development of the Enabling Objectives (EOs/CTEOs)
  • Development of Key Learning Points (KLPs)
  • Production of Assessment Strategy (AStrat)
  • Production of Assessment Specification (ASpec)
  • Selection of Methods and Media (M&M) revisit
  • Development of the Learning Scalar (LScalar)
  • Development of the Learning Specifications (LSpecs
  • Development of training material and courseware in compliance with JSP822 (Defence Direction and Guidance for Training and Education) and any other relevant criteria outlined by the BAE System’s Training Lead or relevant Purchaser’s tasking manager. The work might include (but is not limited to): ·
  • Production of Presentations, Workbooks, Self-Study tutorials, Training Instructor guides, Student training material, Audio and visual aids, Online learning courses, User manuals, Applications, Quick start guides and Aide memoires.
  • Physical delivery of instructor led training, including (but not limited to):
  • Testing that the training designed and developed works, by means of a Pilot Course(s), for specific Conversion Course(s).
  • Delivering of additional training, as required, for purpose of conducting Test and Trials in conjunction with/for engineering.
  • To ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times
