A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Trainee Water Treatment Account Manager to support Senior Account Managers in managing L8 and Water Treatment Accounts for prestigious clients. The role requires strong knowledge of the Water Treatment industry, technical skills, and excellent communication. You will manage your schedule, communicate with clients, and perform site analyses. Competitive salary range of £22k – £40k plus training and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Senior Account Managers and BDM Staff to manage L8 and Water Treatment Accounts.
• Manage own schedule and arrange appointments with clients.
• Provide support to clients over the phone and via email.
• Use on‑site test kits to sample and analyse Steam Boiler and Cooling Tower water.
• Perform closed system analysis on heated and chilled systems.
• Oversee L8 compliance and arrange disinfections.
• Identify client needs and upsell services.
• Order chemicals and consumables for sites.
• Produce service reports and provide cost-effective solutions.

Skills

Strong knowledge of the Water Treatment industry

Strong technical, commercial, and chemical background

Excellent knowledge of HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines

Excellent organisational skills

IT literate and excellent communication skills

Experience & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the Water Treatment industry.
• Ideally a strong technical, commercial, and chemical background.

• Excellent organisational skills.
• IT literate and excellent communication skills.

The Role

• Work alongside Senior Account Managers and BDM Staff, gaining a further understanding of how to manage L8 and Water Treatment Accounts for blue‑chip clients across the South East.
• Manage own schedule, arrange appointments to attend site and update meetings directly with clients.
• Provide support to clients over the phone and via email.
• Use on‑site test kits to sample and analyse Steam Boiler and Cooling Tower water.
• Perform closed system analysis on closed heated and chilled systems.
• Oversee L8 compliance on various sites, arrange CWST and tower disinfections and implement remedial/sampling regimes.
• Identify client needs and upsell remaining services.
• Order chemicals and consumables for sites.
• Produce service reports and provide cost‑effective solutions.
