A leading supplier of industrial batteries in the UK seeks a UPS engineer to join their Reserve Power division. This role involves installing power systems, commissioning UPS systems, and providing maintenance. Ideal candidates will have experience in electrical installations and be located near Edinburgh for regular depot visits.

Operating within a number of industries, they are now looking to bring on a UPS engineer to work with clients across Scotland and the UK within their Reserve Power division. This is a great opportunity for an electrical installations engineer with a background in industrial installations looking to get into an industry with long-term opportunities.
Responsibilities
Requirements
The company is looking for a candidate who has experience for electrical installations within an industrial setting. It is also an essential requirement for you to have done field-based work. In terms of qualifications, a level 3 SVQ/NVQ or HNC in electrical engineering would be preferrable but they would also be open to similar qualifications. Overtime, the business will train the successful candidate to become a fully qualified UPS Engineer. In terms of location, there will be a requirement for you to travel to the depot in Edinburgh regularly so you must be based within commutable distance.
