A Warm and welcoming Special needs school local to you is looking for a trainee special needs teacher to join their award winning team starting ASAP. The school is fully subscribed for this academic year and is looking for a committed and resilient individual to start their teacher training. The school supports learners between the ages of 4 and 19 years, pupils at the school have a complex need including Autism, Asperger's and other associated needs. As a trainee Class Teacher, your role will be to provide high quality teaching on a 1:1 basis that will enable pupils to make progress not just academically, but socially and emotionally.

The school is looking to appoint someone who is keen on delivering outcomes for young people who are of primary or secondary age but working two or three years below age related expectations. The school is invested in meeting the needs of every individual child and as a result of their dedication and pioneering child development strategies have been recently awarded Outstanding by OFSTED. This is a school truly invested in their pupils and for this reason offers an extensive and individually catered creative curriculum that includes outdoor activities (horse riding etc.) The school is commended for welcoming all with open arms and is invested in offering excellence as standard. The schools main aim/goal is to ensure that all learners can and will go on to fully independent living.

This role is required Monday - Friday 08:45-4:45pm and is a term time only role.
