This is an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to start a rewarding career within a supportive and innovative environment. You will receive comprehensive training in the CABAS (Comprehensive Application of Behaviour Analysis to Schooling) model, a research-based approach to education.

The Role:

As a Trainee CABAS Teacher, you will work closely with experienced teachers and therapists, learning to design and implement individualised educational programs for pupils with complex learning needs, primarily those on the autism spectrum. Your responsibilities will include:

  2. Supporting pupils to achieve their academic, social, and independence goals.
  3. Collecting and analysing data to inform teaching strategies.
  4. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic pupil development.
  5. Contributing to a positive and nurturing learning environment.

About You:

  • Proven experience working with children or young people with SEN, in settings such as schools, care, or voluntary roles.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle (crucial for commuting).
  • A genuine passion for working with children with complex learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and embrace new teaching methodologies.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Minimum of A-C GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

What We Offer:

  • Comprehensive training in the internationally recognised CABAS model.
  • Supportive, collaborative work environment focused on professional growth.
  • Opportunities for career progression within a leading specialist school.
  • The chance to make a lasting impact on our pupils' lives.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.

If you meet the above qualifications and are eager to train as a CABAS Teacher, we would love to hear from you. Please apply now or contact Paul Hirchfield at 01293 527416 for more information.
