Overview

Trainee Field Service Engineer (Mechanical) — Essex Office with Regular UK Travel. 37.5 Hours per Week. Starting salary £25,440 + van (available for personal use) + company credit card for expenses + overtime + commission + 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays + discretionary bonus + pension + flexitime policy. OTE 1st year £32,000 - £34,000. OTE once fully trained £40,000 - £45,000.

To apply for the role you need to have excellent mechanical aptitude, keen to learn and comfortable travelling across the UK, Ireland and internationally on occasions. Ideally you need to have an apprenticeship, level 3 or equivalent in mechanical engineering or similar. You also need to be happy in a customer facing role.


The role is service, maintenance, overhaul, commissioning and training of filtration equipment to customers across a range of industries. You will build and maintain strong customer relationships and write service reports/recommendations. You will also produce quotes, carry out risk assessments and any other compliance work necessary.
