Job description

A client of ours in the Basildon area are recruiting a Trainee Sales Executive to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm and paying £21,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience.

Key Duties

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through meetings, calls, and email.
• Identify and visit potential clients to generate new business.
• Research and source information on prospective opportunities.
• Prepare accurate cost calculations and customer quotations.
• Negotiate terms and close sales deals.
• Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and opportunities.
• Provide insights on customer needs and future buying trends.
• Represent the company at trade shows, events, and demonstrations.
• Advise leadership on pricing, delivery, and product specifications.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional service.
• Work with leadership to identify new markets and growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales and order records.
