Job title : Trainee Restaurant Manager

Salary : From 26,000 GBP

Location : Wetherby, North Yorkshire

Accommodation provided : Yes (on an all-inclusive basis) in a town 3 miles away (so would suit a driver)

Charge for accommodation : 75.00 GBP per week

Type of contract : Permanent

Workplace description : The hotel is a unique venue with 37 bedrooms, wonderful conference & banqueting facilities and a very successful non-residential restaurant trade as well as a newly renovated spa. Ideally placed in Wetherby we are located close to the historic city of York, the spa town of Harrogate and the commercial centre of Leeds.

Main duties and responsibilities : This is a hands‑on role where you will learn all operations across the hotel – developing your skills and creating a very well‑rounded hospitality expert. You will become very knowledgeable on all aspects of hospitality and food & beverage service.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Working as a part of our duty management team, the restaurant manager will work a mixture of early & late duty management shifts.
  • Train and manage restaurant staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
