Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor an extensive high-voltage distribution network.
• Ensure essential electrical supplies to nuclear submarines are maintained and operated safely.
• Oversee control rooms and plant houses for monitoring HV and LV systems.
• Safely undertake switching duties for routine operations.
• Support the testing and maintenance of backup systems.

Skills

Knowledge of safety procedures for HV and LV switching operations

Previous experience promoting safe control of work on HV systems

Strong stakeholder engagement skills

Proficiency in MS Office applications

Education

Level 3/ONC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
