Overview

We are looking for a trainee Maintenance Surveyor/Surveyor to assist in the management and delivery of quality maintenance and general property improvement works to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and quality to homes across Coastline's housing stock or others as required. You will also be responsible for providing an accurate breakdown of costs, sourcing and specifying high-quality products and providing technical support across the team.

  • Assist in the management and delivery of quality maintenance and general property improvement works.
  • Provide an accurate breakdown of costs and source/specify high-quality products.
  • Provide technical support across the team.
Qualifications and Experience
  • The ideal candidate will be committed to training and the development of sound knowledge of building construction, including diagnosis of defects and remedial actions in domestic dwellings.
  • Ability to estimate costs of repair and maintenance works with demonstrable project and contractor management experience.
  • Some understanding and experience of working on repairs, maintenance and refurbishment projects within social housing.
  • Experience in working with specialist consultants to problem-solve specific property-related issues.
Requirements
  • Full driving licence.
  • Satisfactory DBS check.
