Job summary

A local engineering provider in Strabane is seeking candidates to assist experienced engineers in electrical/plumbing engineering. Responsibilities include supporting the installation and maintenance of equipment and engaging with customers. Ideal candidates should have a good understanding of health and safety regulations. This temporary role offers up to 25 hours a week with a competitive hourly wage based on age.

THE EMPLOYER IS: COOL RUNNING SYSTEMSLearn the following: To work alongside an experienced engineer to develop knowledge and understanding in the field of electrical/plumbing engineering. To support in the installation and maintenance of milk tanks and air conditioning units. To service electrical/plumbing and mechanical equipment in workshop. To engage with customers onsite. To support with lifting and positioning of mechanical apparatus.

Responsibilities

• To assist with electrical and mechanical tasks under instruction and supervision.
• Safely use power tools and equipment.
• Work at heights when required.
• Support daily operations.
• Follow Health and Safety regulations and procedures.
• Work independently as well as part of a team.

Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
• Driving licence to drive company vehicle.
