Job description

My client is recruiting for Trainee Field Technicians who will be covering your local area. The successful candidate will be trained to find water leaks on the underground water networks. This role is working nights – 40 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). This is a temporary‑to‑permanent role for the right candidate.

Trainee Field Technician Responsibilities

• Assist in detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leakage.
• Assist repair gangs by providing leak detection services.
• Assist in survey work/project work not normally associated with day‑to‑day leak detection.
• Assist in adequate and accurate completion of all paperwork (including timesheets, survey forms, leak details and other duties as required).
• Possess basic computer skills as you will be uploading data onto a laptop.
• Hold a full and valid driving licence for driving duties.

Full Training

• EUSR Water Hygiene Training
• Unit 2 Street Works
