Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in-house recruitment provider.
We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Drainage Surveyor to join their team.
The main purpose of this Trainee Drainage Surveyor role is to work alongside the Lead Drainage Surveyor to train and learn to become a Lead Drainage Surveyor.
In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £28,571 + overtime, stayaways, weekend work.
This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be 5am to 2pm (job dependent).
Reporting to the PPM Mobilisation Manager, your responsibilities will include :
To attend sites across the country to assess site & asset access, investigate external below‑ground, internal / soil & high‑level roof / gutter drainage systems detailing condition and number of assets within the site demise. To assist lead in collating all information to produce a job report detailing what teams, equipment & job methods are needed to complete the job. Information is to be directly internally to produce a planned maintenance quotation.
To attend sites across the country & train in the creation of detailed PPM drainage connectivity plans. External drainage plans to be created by hand on a printed site map & internal / soil plans to be created via handheld tablet. Assist in lifting / identify all assets on site & all assets using various methods of testing IE : Drainage dye & CCTV equipment.
To attend sites across the country alongside team lead to carry out regular site inspections as part of our planned maintenance portfolio by creating a conditional report of all assets & submitting remedial / recommendation forms to highlight any defects, access issues etc.
The ideal candidate :
Full UK Driving Licence (clean)

Good technology usage
Availability to do overtime
Availability to do stay away work once every 2 weeks
