Overview

We have an opportunity for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our Robinsons Dental practice in Christchurch.

No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being, are passionate about delivering great service, and looking for a career where you can learn, grow and develop, then this could be a perfect fit for you.

  • Full-time hours - 40 hours per week
  • Typical shifts are 7.45am-5.15pm with one day being 7:45am – 1:45pm
  • Training supported by our highly experienced team -your course will be overseen by an external course provider and is fully funded by PortmanDentex

About you

  • We recommend that you hold Maths & English GCSE grade A-C/4-9 or Key Skills/Functional Skills Level 2
  • Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
  • Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
  • Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures
