A local charity organization in Newbury is seeking an Adviser/Supervisor for a 2-year training programme. The position starts at £13,868.40, with part-time hours (21 hours/week). The successful candidate will work as a generalist adviser and train for supervisory roles, providing support on a range of issues such as debt and employment. We are delighted to present the opportunity to join our Adviser/Supervisor training programme. This is a new training programme designed to last 2 years, after which time you will become a fully trained supervisor. For those who may already be certified as a competent generalist adviser, the training programme can be adapted to reflect prior learning and competence.
In year one, after some initial training, the successful candidate will work as a generalist adviser.
In year two, dependent on progress and aptitude, you will work as a generalist adviser and also train to become an Advice Session Supervisor.
The successful candidate will be friendly, approachable, non-judgmental and empathetic with a passion to deliver a great advice service.
