Responsibilities

  • Assisting with daily bookkeeping activities.
  • Tracking and locating invoices and receipts.
  • Reconciling bank accounts regularly.
  • Setting up customer accounts and managing direct debits.
  • Supporting payment runs for accounts payable.
  • Processing expenses and payments.
  • Monitoring the accounts inbox for queries.
  • Reconciling supplier and customer accounts.
  • Chasing debtor invoices.

What You'll Do:
As a Trainee Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Team with various essential tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with daily bookkeeping activities, including data entry and invoice processing
  • Tracking and locating invoices, receipts, and purchase orders
  • Reconciling bank accounts on a regular basis
  • Setting up customer accounts and managing direct debit mandates
  • Supporting payment runs for accounts payable
  • Processing expenses and payments
  • Monitoring the accounts inbox and responding to customer/supplier queries
  • Reconciling supplier and customer accounts
  • Chasing debtor invoices

Who You Are:
We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and a team player!

Familiarity with accounting software (like Xero) is a plus!
