Spider is advertising on behalf of a maintenance and repair services provider for heavy goods vehicles and plant machinery. They are looking for a Trailer Technician/ Fitter to join their team either full time or part time in Shipdham Airfield, near Dereham, Norfolk.

About the role

As a Trailer Technician/ Fitter in our busy workshop, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the performance and reliability of heavy goods vehicles and plant machinery. You'll engage in a variety of hands‑on tasks, including inspections, repairs, and servicing.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Carrying out trailer inspections and attending breakdowns.
  • Preparing vehicles for MOT.
  • Diagnosing faults and undertaking repairs on vehicles and plant machinery.
  • Providing vehicle servicing and general maintenance.
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
About You

You are a motivated Trailer Technician/ Fitter with a passion for working as part of a small but efficient team. Your hands‑on approach and attention to detail ensure high‑quality workmanship in every task. You have an NVQ Level 3 or proven experience. Note: you are required to have access to a personal vehicle for commuting as the client is located away from public transport.
