Express Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a family‑run, industry leading business in their search for a Retail Sales Advisor, as they look to expand their small and friendly Leicester‑based team.

This is an ideal customer facing role (no outbound or pushy sales required!) for someone with a keen eye for upselling opportunities and a passion for delivering a high‑quality service to customers, both trade and retail, face‑to‑face and over the phone.

In return for your hard work, you can expect to an hourly rate c£12.21 D.O.E plus bi‑annual bonus, a thorough training plan, excellent benefits package and discount scheme with the opportunity to join a friendly and welcoming team.

Responsibilities
  • Offer support and product knowledge to the branch’s customers, both trade and retail
  • Effectively manage customer enquiries, both face‑to‑face and inbound calls
  • Maintain high levels of customer service at all times to ensure best customer experience
  • Upsell products where possible to maximise on branch revenue
  • Utilise product knowledge to guide customers through the sales process
  • Support the wider branch including the warehouse team with stock related duties
Skills & Experience
  • Passion to deliver highest quality customer service
  • Previous experience within customer facing or a retail sales role
  • Previous experience working within a warehouse or stock control role preferred but not essential
  • Confident self‑starter, able to act on own initiative
  • Ability to work strongly within a tight knit team
