Qualifications

  • Prior experience of the agricultural industry or supply chain.

Job description

We have a great opportunity to join Openfield in a brand-new Trader role within an established and commercial trading team based in Colsterworth, starting immediately.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate an intuitive approach towards sales and trading, with an interest in global grain markets, food supply chains and food production such bread, beer, cereals, biscuits and animal feed.

Who we're looking for :

An individual with prior experience of the agricultural industry and or supply chain who is looking for either the next step in their career or to move into a trading role from elsewhere in the industry.

Previous trading and / or sales experience is desirable.

Someone who can demonstrate adaptability and a positive attitude. You must be hungry to succeed, highly self‑motivated and excel working in a team environment.

A creative thinker with research and analytical skills.

Ability to focus in a faced‑paced and dynamic environment and also to self‑regulate and navigate the peaks and troughs of trading.

You will be able to quickly form and develop strong commercial relationships internally and externally to create opportunities that best meet the businesses commercial challenges.
