Qualifications

  • Full, clean UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Experience in plumbing, heating merchs, or trade counters is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the warehouse including stock rotation.
  • Serve on the trade counter and handle enquiries.
  • Pick orders accurately for delivery.
  • Check and store incoming goods.
  • Assist with branch upkeep and carry out deliveries.
  • Process quotes.

Overview

Position: Trade Counter Assistant (Part Time)

Salary: Up to £17,500 per annum DOE

Hours: 25/week MON-FRI flexible start/finish between 7am-5pm. NO WEEKENDS.

Location: Williams, Unit 9, 20 Airfield Way, Christchurch, BH23 3PE

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the warehouse, including stock rotation and general housekeeping.
  • Serving on the trade counter and handling incoming enquiries.
  • Accurately picking orders in preparation for delivery.
  • Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods.
  • Assisting with the general upkeep of the branch.
  • Carrying out deliveries in the local area.
  • Processing quotes.

Requirements
  • A full, clean UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
  • Previous exposure to working within plumbing and heating merchs, builders\' merchants or wholesalers, trade counters, or on-the-tools within the plumbing and heating trade is advantageous.
