Location: Llay, North Wales - due to move to Chester next month

Pay: 30p/h

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our fabrication team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating pipework and associated components to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with industry specifications and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and other materials used in pipework manufacturing.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and finish pipework and associated components for water industry applications.
  • Carry out quality checks to ensure welds meet required standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors, and project teams to meet deadlines and production targets.
  • Adhere to company policies, health & safety regulations, and industry standards at all times.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a TIG Welder, preferably within pipework fabrication or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and materials, particularly stainless steel.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant welding qualifications/certifications (e.g., coded welder status) are highly desirable.
