Qualifications

Job description
Overview

Workshop Tig Welder (Also recruiting semi skilled welders)

Aermech Ltd is a fabricator, supplier and site installer of Water Treatment pipework and equipment throughout the UK and Ireland. Due to continued growth, we are now recruiting experienced Welders to join the team at our workshop based in Pembroke, South Wales. The successful candidates will be working alongside other welders and fabricators in our modern workshop; training will be provided to carry out the role successfully.

Job Type: Full-time Permanent for the right candidate.

Working Hours: Workshop-based (Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm; Friday 8.00am - 2.30pm). Occasional overtime opportunities. 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Experience in Stainless Steel Tig Welding on various pipe diameters and wall thicknesses (generally 2mm-6mm thick).
  • Experience in Stainless Steel and mild steel Mig Welding.
  • Able to complete fabrication tasks.
  • Able to complete welds to a high quality, in accordance with project/company requirements.
  • Experience working with Engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge and experience of Health and Safety policies and procedures at work.
  • Must be able to work well in a team and have the right attitude.
  • Occasional site work and site welding if required.

  • Health and safety awareness in a workshop environment.
