Overview

Tig Welder — £14.00 to £17.50 per hour (Negotiable DOE) plus benefits. The client is looking for an experienced and skilled TIG welder in Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminium who is hard working, talented and conscientious to join their fabrication and welding team. This opportunity involves working as part of a team effort to satisfy production requirements. The position is temporary to permanent.

Responsibilities
  • Working with the principles of practical application of TIG/MIG welding.
  • Working with all types of TIG/MIG welding on Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminium.
  • Working in full protective clothing — heat-proof gloves, helmet, and overalls.
  • Being health and safety conscious when working with welding processes.
  • Working with engineering drawings to ensure products meet the criteria.
Qualifications and experience
  • The ability to interpret engineering drawings to ensure products meet the criteria.
  • Understands the principles of welding for strength.
  • 3 to 5 years experience of TIG welding of Aluminium.
  • Great team member.
Additional details
  • Any potential candidates will be asked to attend a welding test.
Hours of work

Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm; Friday 8am to 2:00pm — 40 hour working week.

Location

Village location just outside of St Ives; transport required.
