An NHS hospital in Milton Keynes is looking for a Therapy Educator Assistant Practitioner to join the Therapy Practice Education Team on a fixed-term basis. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in therapy assistance and a strong dedication to compassionate patient care. Responsibilities include supporting clinical teams and developing ward-based activities. This role offers up to £30,162 per annum and the opportunity for flexible working arrangements.

Department: Inpatient Therapies
Band 4 £27,485 - £30,162 per annum
Full-time 37.5hrs per week, 7 day working. All MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working.
We are offering 2 fixed-term contract opportunities for 9 months each to join our growing Therapy Practice Education Team as a Therapy Educator Assistant Practitioner. Previous experience as a Therapy/Rehab Assistant or Assistant Practitioner is essential.
In this role, you will work with the Therapy Practice Education Team and Therapy colleagues on wards to develop resources to support robust delegation practices that drive enhanced access to prevention of deconditioning and re-ablement for patients. You will also support clinical teams as a Therapy Assistant Practitioner where required, within your personal scope of practice, including developing and implementing ward-based group activity protocols.
